the following pages are taken from a children’s coloring book i stumbled at a thriftshop some time ago while visiting with a friend in her hometown of cynthiana, ky. every page started and finished while playing operator and floorguide/hostess to the hundreds that flow through the museum i work in all day. aside from exacto cutting the life out of magazines papers and books, it is the only way i can work and create in full focus without causing confusion amongst my brain hemispheres. really, this part of the process is all fluff, the paint mixing, even canvas primping.
